Fluid Transfer

Getting from A to B with ease and accuracy

Whether your application involves picolitres, nanolitres, microlites or millilitres SDR Scientific has a delivery solution to suit your needs. Our range includes syringe pumps, peristaltic pumps, centrifugal pumps, pulsatile blood pumps, compact microfluidic controllers for droplet generation and turnkey organ on a chip platforms. We also supply syringes, tubing and connectors to bring it all together as well as software to create control programs on a computer.

Syringe pumps

Our range of programmable syringe pumps includes models to suit most budgets. Options include infuse only, infuse/withdraw and single or multi syringe. We also have models that are MRI compatible, have glucose clamps and OEM models that can be built into your own system. Delivery capacities range from 3.3pl/min to 220.8ml/min.

Peristaltic pumps

Pumps offering unparalleled accuracy, reproducibility, and ease of use over a broad range of flow rates. Consisting of a control unit and a choice of motor drives, the pump can deliver solutions over a range of flow rates from 0.001 to 1,500 ml/min depending on the motor drive used.

Centrifugal pumps

Designed for pumping blood and/or erythrocyte suspension solutions in the physiological or pharmacological laboratory. Consisting of the pump drive and a centrifugal pump head which can be replaced without tools. Pump heads are hermetically sealed. The coupling to the motor of the pump drive is carried out via magnetic force; there is no axle.

Pulsatile blood pumps

Pulsatile blood pumps truly simulate the pumping action of the heart. Featuring silicone rubber-covered heart-type ball valves and smooth flow paths which minimize haemolysis. Only inert materials like silicone rubber, acrylic plastic, and PTFE contact the fluid. The pumping head is easy to take apart and reassemble and can be sterilized.
