Privacy Policy
At SDR Scientific, we like to know our customers and their interests so that we can more effectively help you. But we respect your privacy. The following is a brief statement of our privacy policy ... if you have any concerns or requests, please feel free to email us.
We do not generally give any details of our customers to other organisations. If you purchase equipment or software, we may give your name and address to the manufacturer if they require us to do so. We may occasionally give your name and brief contact details to another individual customer, if it appears that direct communication might help solve a problem for one of you, but we will normally ask you before doing this. We may also mention the name of your institution (but not your personal details or research interests, unless we ask you first) to a prospective customer for major equipment.
We log access to our web site, but only to the level of the domain from which you are connecting. Web logs are only used to improve our website service. We do not pass cookies to your browser.
We log searches made on our website, but only to the level of the domain from which you are connecting.
We log downloads from our website, but only to the level of the domain from which you are connecting.
We make records of your name and contact details during the ordinary course of business (enquiries, quotations and sales). We also briefly note your interests, so that we can more quickly respond to an enquiry. We also naturally keep copies of correspondence with you. We will not make any such material available to anyone outside our company without your permission, except during essential correspondence with the manufacturer of equipment or software that you have purchased from us.
Infrequently, we distribute advertising material by mail or email to groups of customers who we believe may be interested. Infrequently, because we are conscious that you do not want to be bombarded with rubbish! We would be happy to honour any request that we do not send you unsolicited material.
If you would liked to review the records we keep about you (including interests, contact details and credit history, if relevant), please contact us and we will he happy to help. We will need suitable assurance that it really is you!
